• About the Team
Kwik Kar Lube and Tune on Thousand Oaks is family locally owned and operated by Rudy and Laura Quinones. Rudy began his passion for cars back in the 70's as a child while working at his Grandfather's service station in El Paso, TX. He continued to tinker with cars and eventually became a Master Fleet Mechanic for UPS in El Paso. Rudy continued his education while working full time and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1994. Shortly thereafter, Rudy began working as a Facilities Engineer for UPS in San Antonio. Despite having a good corporate career, he missed the automotive environment and the spirit of the entrepreneur took over.

• The Dream Realized
Rudy and Laura created Kwik Kar Lube & Tune in 2005 with strong convictions on providing the best automotive service and repair and reasonable prices. They also believe in providing their employees with a clean and safe environment while offering them continued training and development and excellent wages.

When Rudy is not at the shop, he is spending time with his family. Rudy & Laura have three children, Alejandro (8), Diego (5) and Alina (3). You can sometimes find the two boys helping Rudy out at the shop on the weekends with window washing duties or helping the cashier. Little Alina enjoys raiding the candy machine!
