When was the last time you changed the differential gear oil in you car? If you can't answer that then it's been too long. Kwik Kar technicians use a specially forumlated gear oil to lubricate, cool and clean the gears in differential case and 4-wheel drive. The old gear oil is removed and replaced with new gear oil that conforms to your vehicle manufacturer’s recommendation.

Because friction takes place at several points of contact between gear clusters, shafts, and bearings, vehicle manufacturers usually recommend that the gear oil, transfer case and differential be replaced. Over time, the gear oil will break down and reduce the effectiveness of this to vital components.  Because of this, vehicle manufacturers usually recommend replacing this gear oil every 25,000 to 30,000 miles.

Differential/Transfer Case Service Includes:

• The old differential gear and/or oil will be replaced from the gear box 
• New gear lubricant will be added to the level specified by the manufacturer 
• All drain plugs are re-sealed and secured in their original location
